I asked, if it's ok to publish each of my updates here and 100% of persons who were concerened enough to answer (i.e. 1 person) said yes. So here it is.

This little hexagonal sector creator tool got an additional information window. Not any "new" information, but a lot depends on how information is presented.
My motivation for this is: I was unhappy of how the general planets overview handled tags. Each planet has two tags by default and the sorting only accounts for one of those. So the user still has to search through all planets for a specific tag, possibly only to find that it does not occur in that sector.
The new window lists all occurring tags, alphabetically sorted, and links them back to the star system where they occur. Those star system designations are clickable. I might need some help with usability design some time, but for now it works.
Also I think some global information is better available in this format. If you have twenty planets and three of them are "Cybercommunists", what does that say about the general political climate in your sector? Such information might be more easy available in this view.

Of course the old planet list is still there.

Stars and Planets still have no name. (On a desert planet you can't remember your name.)

Again, tested on linux. I can not compile for mac or win from here.

Looks nice! How do I install it on Ubuntu?

+Omer G. Joel Just take the binary or App Image from the links above, make it executable (chmod +x ) and start it. The binary is a lot smaller and usese shared qt libraries. It is very likely you already have qt installed for other programs. If not, you need to use the statically linked app image.
Tell me if you run into any problems.
