I've made a concept word, and I'd like some thoughts and opinions on the word. This is my first time making a word, but I've been trying to really make it the best word I can for the past few weeks. Trying to really get the essence of the word, and make it the best word it could be. I'd love some input, on, the Word of the Evil Overlord.
Also in the off chance that Kevin Crawford is reading this and this bit shows up. Thank you sir for creating one of my favorite tabletop games ever, and arguably what I consider to be one of the greatest tabletop games ever made. Thank you for taking everything great about Exalted, and making it twenty times better. I love Godbound and everything about it. So thank you and everyone else who worked on the book!
Very cool idea. I think Awaken the Horde needs to create more minions. Perhaps large mobs, or even a vast mob. I really like the Tyrant's Laugh ability. Monologuing to disable opponents' divine abilities is awesome.
+Isaac Carroll Thank you, and I was considering adding that wording. But isn't that sort of meant to be implied naturally? That you could summon larger mobs eventually? Eh, I'll try playing around with the wording.
I saw that you could summon more small mobs at higher level, but Awaken the Horde sounds to me like raising an army, and it is a Greater Gift, so it should be pretty powerful.
+Isaac Carroll Well, what would Sauron be without his Orcs and Uruk-Hai? Or Palpatine without his Storm Troopers? An Overlord needs his armies. Though you could easily opt out, and focus more on a few stronger units. But yeah. I'll just add the wording from Genera's Escort to the 2nd line from "Awaken the Horde". I'll add "One Large Mob can be called in place of two Small Mobs, and one Vast Mob in place of two Large Mobs"
Sounds great. I agree, Evil Overlords need their numberless minions.
