Here's my attempt at writing up an Eldritch Themed Godbound character type. Let me know what you think.

It reads clearly, and I think it looks fine, mechanically.
Thank you for sharing this.
+Kyrinn S. Eis Thank you for checking it out!
I'm happy to have, and pleased it included Throne Codex material references. Are you currently running a GB campaign?
+Kyrinn S. Eis I am, two actually! One is a very infrequent Modern day Godbound game with GB awakening in London. Inspired by things like Legion but with the characters not being held back by TV restraints. The other regular game is a Heroic Mortals game set in Ancalia. Zombie survival horror in the ruins of the world!
At first, I thought you were going to say, 'Inspired by Zelazny's
Amber
series.' Legion without limits is much more visceral.
I love the cover of Ancalia, it is actually what got me to buy GB.
Both of those games sound great.

I hadn't thought about Amber, but that would make an interesting GB game. In truth I think besides Legion, the next closest influence is Kult (with secret cults working towards achieving or reachieving godhood).
I've had Ancalia on my bookshelf since it came out, looking at it mostly as a source of interesting new mechanics for GB. Recently I took it down to review those very things and got really interested in how well crafted it was as a setting book...namely, here's a setting, here's it's problems, and here's how the player's can explicitly resolve and fix those issues. I've not seen many source books handled that way...even if you killed the BBEG of whatever setting, it rarely fixes the issues that plague the land. That sounded really appealing so I thought I would give it a go.
Why I forced my players to handle it as Heroic Mortals instead of GB? Mostly curiosity about how well the HM rules worked within GB. Granted, even now I'm tempted by GB to let the characters find Divine sparks, but I'm trying to resist that. Though writing up this Eldritch is an example of a path I might offer a couple of players into 'GB light'.
Anyway, I certainly hope the players are enjoying it! I think they are!
That is a great way of running the game, +Matthew Skail . I am looking forward to more instalments of your GB coverage. :D
Okay, I've updated the document. I'm address miracles and how their powers are treated for dispelling purposes (as various levels of theurgy).
