So, I am wondering if anyone has ever done a Macross kinda thing with SWN and if so, if ya have any notes on how you did it that you would be willing to share (not sure if I should end that with a question mark or period)

I eyed that a few years ago, but I got frustrated with the different scales vehicles, spacecraft, and mecha operate.

I'd pick one of the different focuses and warp the rest around that. Or make a valk a flying gravtank.

I haven't but if I did I'd start with the sister game, Godbound. Those mechs are little more Macross in feel and function.

+Angelo Pileggi I'm not really familiar with Godbound. I did not know it had Mecha at all.

+Tim Razzle It sure does. They're called Godwalkers (I think) and there are rules for building them from scratch, as well as a slew of pre-made ones. It's compatible with OSR and probably my favorite of all Sine Nomine games, all in. SWN is right there, though. It's altogether fantastic.

If add that it solves scale issues, allows you to play mortal heroic and demigod levels of play (design is centered around demigod / "Exalted" level) and has the best faction system of any of Kevin's games. It's a great read and as you can tell I'm a fan. You can get a simplified version of the rules for free still, I believe.
