
Maybe a dumb question, but the Desert attack power...what damage type is that? It's described as burning winds and cutting sand. Does immunity to fire protect a character?
It is
possible
that they would count as fire, due to the heat element; though, likely it would count as physical damage due to cutting wind/sand/heat combination. I would say that, at best, it is arguableāthis damage stems from enough multiple sources that it would not be easily resisted, even by a GB of Fire (at my table).
If you're hoping for someone else to weigh in, you may wish to + them in the convo as well. Are you in the Ebon Dragon's Rostrum? We have discussions about what is what there from time to time.

Unless explicitly billed as energy X, you can assume that attack powers always count as normal physical damage. It's up to the GM to decide what constitutes explicit billing, but I wouldn't include the Desert attack power among them.
