The PDA provides nuke snuffer coverage, but the Braker Gun Array is better at deflecting bombardments. The PDA can deflect unpowered projectiles and push powered ones off-target, but the Braker Gun Array can negate both unless an entire bombardment fleet is dumping missiles at the surface.
