So I've been setting up a revised edition campaign, and I wanted my players to be able to custom tailor their ship, but I didn't want them to have to have to deal with the massive headache of tabulating power/mass/cost etc. I also have a tendency to solve all my RPG problems with spreadsheets; in the past, under my old name, I shared at least a couple of those here. For this purpose, I made a tool that automatically puts together your ships from you hull and the fittings you choose from drop down menus. It makes what used to be basically an hour long process suiting up a ship become a process you can do in two minutes. It'll definitely make putting together NPC ships on the fly mid-session waaaaay easier. I figured I'm probably not the only person who could use it, and now you don't have to spend six hours building a spreadsheet.
To use it, follow my link at the top and make your own copy of the spreadsheet that you can modify. Enjoy, and tell me if you notice something is wrong with my tool so I can fix it.
Excellent. This is way useful.
Glad it could be useful to others!
You've left me hanging: no way to include the custom mods? :)
I thought about it, and I might update it soon, but it's a little weird to add it with them being so super different, but I might add them. I made sure to add a price modifier for them at least.
F' it. I'll get right on adding the ones in the core book in.
When I click it, it takes me to a view only version. I'm not seeing the link referred to, possibly?
Go to file and save a copy for yourself. :)
Oh ok, thanks! xD
