Does +Kevin Crawford specify anywhere in the revised book whether you should round up or down in general? I can't seem to find a reference to rounding anywhere in the book. Specifically, should an off world base of influence's HP be rounded up or down?
Some places explicitly say to round up or down, so I'm assuming that you're generally supposed to do "normal" rounding (round up when at or above .5, round down when below .5)
Certainly in Godbound, it seems things tend to be rounded up in the player’s favor - see pg 19 of the Deluxe edition under Advancement. It specifically states for gaining HP at a new level “Their maximum hit points increase by 4, plus half of their Constitution modifier, rounded upward.”
My group usually "round to screw" unless otherwise specified.
That sounds more Pathfinder than Godbound ;)
The question is about Stars Without Number, I assume, since OP talks about "revised", so that seems reasonable though. ;)
Godbound I would round in the player's favour.
You round by the normal rules unless specified otherwise.
I don't understand what you mean by your specification at the end. Why would you round the hitpoints of a BoI?
