All right. The religion section of the Lexicon is roughed. Now it needs final fill, and then the book needs its edit pass, and while that's going on the last art needs to get in. Right now, the religion section looks like this, though it'll probably take some tweaking in final.
* Creating the Divinity and the Faith's Origin
** The Divine's Relation to the Faith
** Glorious Saints of Yore
** One-Roll Holy Day Generator
** Positive Requirements of the Faith
** Negative Prohibitions of the Faith
** One-Roll Cleric Generator
** One-Roll Temple Generator
* Structuring the Faith
** The Structure of the Church
** The Head of the Faith
** Organizational Structures
** Institutional Structures
** Religious Roles and Titles
** Clerical Ranks and Names
** Large-Scale Conflict Generator
** Small-Scale Conflict Generator
* Choosing Religion Tags
** (The tag list)
* Godbound Cults
As a matter of interest,
will there be anything on attracting followers, both mundane and supernatural? This is kind of covered by Domain at the moment, but it seemed like a good place to expand in this.
There might be a discussion of that in the Godbound Cults section, but most of that is going to be implicit in the specific campaign, and what the PCs do with their Dominion and personal adventuring efforts.
Is this going to be a Kickstarter?
No, just a straight-up release. Hopefully at the end of the month, maybe a couple weeks into May.
Looking forward to it muchly!
I don't recall if anyone's asked before: Hardcover or softcover? Also color or black and white?
Softcover- I expect it'll be around 70-80 pages in total, and that fits better as a softcover.
Agh I need this. Yesterday.
Looks like you’ll be getting more of my money next month.
You know you're doing something right when people (like me!) who don't even play Godbound are lining up to throw money at you the moment the next Godbound supplement is released.
+Dave Sherohman I'd say that, from Kevin's perspective, things are more than right.
I hate to bother you +Kevin Crawford , but are things still on track for a mid-May release? You haven't given a date; I understand, probably for good reasons, but we find the promised time nearly upon us. Does it need to be pushed back? Is there something necessary gumming up the works? I hope you'll forgive me, but usually you're very forthright in your communications with us, and we're all pretty excited to see when this will come to fruition.
