So are all these tech 5 systems/items with unlimited energy are somehow tapping into vacuum energy and/or dark energy like the propulsion system in Arthur C. Clarke's "The Songs of Distant Earth"? I'm thinking so, but what do other people think?

My guess is either Backgroundium or Doesn't-really-matter-um. Though sometimes I get the feeling they tap into a deposit of either Fuel(TM) or Source(C).

+Woodthorn LOL! Well, I suppose that's what's actually going on, but I'm trying rationalize the process, which may or may not be a mistake. :)
